Kiru: Brand Identity for a School Communication Platform

Brand identity for Kiru, an edtech platform connecting private schools, parents, and students in Buenos Aires. Designed to centralise grade reporting, notifications, and two-way communication between schools and families, the project combines strategic brand development with product thinking grounded in real user needs.

Why this platform exists

Private schools in Buenos Aires often rely on fragmented communication channels: WhatsApp groups, emails, and paper notices. This creates confusion for parents and extra administrative work for schools.

The identity balances:

  • institutional trust for schools
  • clarity and accessibility for parents
  • a modern tone that signals a shift toward digital tools

Modular origami, a system built from parts

The symbol is based on modular origami: a structure formed by assembling independent units into a single shape.

It reflects the platform itself: different roles connected into one system.

Designed for clarity and trust

Blue was selected as the primary colour for its association with trust and reliability. The palette supports clear hierarchy and fast scanning across the interface.

Accessibility was considered from the start.

These screens reflect three core interactions of the platform: the parent dashboard, grade management, and messaging.

As the product is still in development, they are shown here as selected snapshots to illustrate how the identity extends into the interface.

Brand ready. Platform in progress.

Kiru is still in development. The platform is being built, the brand is complete. The identity was designed to scale across product, notifications, and parent-facing communication.
